The Making of Eclipse: A Studio Diary

Every track has a story. Eclipse started as a voice memo on my phone at 3am — just a chord progression and a melody I hummed while half-asleep.

Week 1: Foundation

Built the initial arrangement around a Rhodes piano loop. Added a 808 bass and some side-chain compression to give it that pulsing feel.

Week 2: Layering

Brought in Nova for vocals. We recorded 12 takes before finding the right energy. Her ad-libs in the bridge are some of the best moments on the track.

Week 3: Mix & Master

Worked with [Producer Name] on the mix. We focused on keeping the low-end clean while preserving the warmth of the analog synths.
